Housekeeping at Kaiteriteri Recreation Reserve

The Reserve has 250 hectares of historic coastal land including the famous Kaiteriteri Beach, Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park and Kaka Pa Historic Reserve.
Although the Reserve has a responsibility to the Crown to manage this land, it is 100% funded through its commercial operations including: Accommodation & conferencing, Hospitality, Retail, Recreation and Concessions.

Position: Housekeeping Staff

Type: Full-time/Part-time, Permanent

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform housekeeping duties to ensure guest accommodations and public areas meet established cleanliness standards.

• Work collaboratively with the Housekeeping Supervisor and team members to achieve departmental goals and exceed guest expectations.

• Adhere to cleaning schedules and procedures to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation.

• Report any maintenance issues or cleanliness concerns promptly to ensure timely resolution.

• Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and maintaining equipment.

• Support a positive work environment by communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed.

• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative work environment.
